Are You A Logistics And Admin Assistant, Looking For An Exciting Challenge

Our client in the Umhlanga area is recruiting for a Logistics and Admin Assistant, to arrange transport to clients DC’s.

Logistics and Admin Assistant

  • Capturing orders into our system, and arranging transport to clients DC’s; this requires liaising with transporters to collect stock, liaising with Client DC’s to book delivery slots, and then ensuring all paperwork such as Delivery Notes and Invoices are generated timeously and sent to the relevant parties.

    Performing admin tasks such as generating credit notes, allocating transport costs and updating invoices.

    Compiling paperwork for filing – linking documentation such as invoices and sales orders.

    Capturing orders received from clients into our ERP (e.g. Pastel) & checking of pricing

    Good communication skills interacting and arranging transport and booking with clients, suppliers, and transporters.

    Attention to detail and ability to multi task

    ERP knowledge and experience on a platform such as Pastel is ideal

    Logistics & fleet management

    CHEP Portfolio Plus – ideal but not crucial



    1 – 2 years relevant working experience
